Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) and Thread Advisory in Malaysia have signed an MoU to partner in providing advisory services to organisations on advancing their human capital agenda.
In a development shared exclusively with Human Resources, the MoU has been signed by MIHRM's president and CEO, Aresandiran Jaganathan Naidu, and Thread Advisory's founder and principal consultant, Claudia Cadena.
Aresandiran, who heads the national professional body, commented on the development: "This partnership is a strategic move towards ensuring that MIHRM is able to offer our members strategic services within the full spectrum of human capital management. We recognise the importance of adding value to our members in a manner that goes beyond building internal HR capabilities."
The signing ceremony took place on 28 February, at MIHRM's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
Cadena, who has been resident of Malaysia for more than 20 years, added: "Our main objective is to adopt a collaborative approach with our clients to identify, define and implement integrated and practical strategies, policies and programmes that will support their organisation in attracting, developing and retaining talent."
Thread Advisory was established by Cadena earlier this year, with a focus on supporting companies to effectively manage human capital matters in the areas of change, culture transformation, employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and more.
