HR Practitioner AppointmentsJarrett Lee Anderson accepts promotion with Coty, relocates to China Having been with cosmetics company, Coty, since April 2017 as talent acquisition manager for SEA, HK, Taiwan and Export Asia, Jarrett Lee Anderson has been promoted to talent acquisition manager, Greater China. In the new role that sees him relocating from Singapore to Shanghai, he supports cross-divisional talent acquisition and employer branding in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. He is no stranger to the region, as prior to his Singapore stint, he was with Robert Walters as senior consultant - marketing, based in Beijing.
Kisha Raju takes up new role at TransferFriend in Malaysia Previously tenured with Axiata Digital as HR specialist, Kisha Raju has taken up a new role as HR manager at money transfer provider, TransferFriend. She continues to be based in Kuala Lumpur, where she is tasked with developing and implementing HR strategies; manpower planning; bridging management and employee relations; maintaining pay and benefits programme, and more.
Semiconductors company Texas Instruments fills senior HR role with Julie Zhu Based in Shanghai, Julie Zhu is now VP, Asia and Japan HR with Texas Instruments, moving up from her past role as Asia and Japan HR director. She was been with the company since September 2009, when she joined as Asia HR director. She has previously been associated with companies such as Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola, and others.
HR Solutions Provider AppointmentsCenturyLink appoints Matt Gutierrez as senior managing director for Asia Pacific Telecom and network services provider, CenturyLink has appointed Matt Gutierrez as its senior managing director for Asia Pacific, to lead the business throughout the region; oversee sales, marketing and operations functions; and work with enterprises, government and wholesale customers on their digital transformation initiatives. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Gutierrez spent more than 17 years at Level 3 Communications.
Laurinda Pang, president, international and global accounts management, CenturyLink, commented: "Matt's leadership will help CenturyLink drive our vision of being the leading network solutions provider in Asia Pacific."

Weng Fee Chin relocates from Malaysia to UK with NGA Human Resources Having been NorthgateArinso (NGA) Human Resources since March 2014, Weng Fee Chin has taken up a new role as senior director, UK DHR services, which relocates him from Malaysia to Hemel Hempstead, UK. Most recently, he was regional director, digital HR services for JAPAC, where he led client accounts and regional sales teams to help organisations on their journey to digitalised HR.
NGA HR deals in providing end-to-end process, technology and services for HR service delivery, and he joined the firm in 2014 as HR consulting regional director, APJ, prior to which he was senior manager, HR IT governance for APAC at BASF Asia Pacific Service Centre.
New president for CISCO JAPAC to lead regional growth charge IT and networking company, CISCO has appointed Miyuki Suzuki as new president for the Asia Pacific and Japan business, after three years at the helm of Cisco Japan. Charged with revenue growth across 18 markets, and propelling customers' digital transformation efforts, Suzuki will report to Chris Dedicoat, executive vice president of worldwide sales and field operations.
Bringing 35 years’ experience to the role, prior to Cisco, Suzuki assumes the leadership from Irving Tan, who has taken on the newly created role of senior vice president of operations and digital. Joining chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins’ executive leadership team, Tan is responsible for driving digital transformation across the company in partnership with sales, engineering and other functions.
Commenting on her appointment, Suzuki said: "With growing economies and increasing technological maturity, Cisco is positioning itself at the heart of regional innovation, enabling customers to collaborate and transform by taking the time to understand the needs of each individual market. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead and developing new bridges."
Dedicoat added: "I’m confident Miyuki has the right experience, innovative thinking and leadership qualities to capture market opportunities across the wider region in her expanded role."
Currently based in Tokyo, Suzuki will relocate to Cisco’s Asia Pacific & Japan headquarters in Singapore in the near future. Recruitment is underway for her successor for president of Cisco Japan.
Joshua Chew makes a move from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney With McKinsey & Company since 2016, Joshua Chew has moved from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney as senior business analyst, public sector delivery hub. He was previously business analyst. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Chew has worked with GoGet.my, Hejun Consulting, and more.
BTI Executive Search appoints XE Irene Lim as principal consultant Bringing with her more than 10 years of on-the-field experience across Asia, Lim has moved to BTI Executive Search as principal consultant, moving from Ethos BeathChapman where she was senior consultant - supply chain and engineering.
Lai Mae selected to talent acquisition role with Korn Ferry Futurestep Consulting firm Korn Ferry Futurestep has appointed Lai Mae to a talent acquisition role for PayPal, in a move away from her previous role as recruitment from Korn Ferry Futurestep for Becton Dickinson. She specialises in contract/interim recruitment, permanent recruitment, and executive search and selection.
Recruitz brings Miranda Choi on board as head of recruitment Miranda Choi has been secured as head of recruitment with Hong Kong-based Recruitz. She has been with the firm since May 2015, when she joined as recruitment manager, and was most recently assistant vice president before being promoted to her new role.
