The Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) has announced an extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (PKPB/CMCO) in the state, from 13 April 2021 to 26 April 2021, both dates inclusive. 

This comes after the daily report showed that the number of active cases still receiving treatment and isolated is as many as 3,263 people, while a total of 211 new cases of COVID-19 were detected state-wide. The districts that reported the maximum cases are Bintulu District (70), Sibu (35), and Sarikei (21).

JPBN also identified two new clusters, namely Jalan Kapitan Cluster, Marudi and Disco Cluster, Saratok. A total of 44 clusters are still active in the state. Meanwhile, the number of districts in terms of the coding remains at Red (12), Orange (4), Yellow (19) and Green (5).

In similar updates, five localities in Pahang - three residential areas and two villages - have been put under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (PKPD/EMCO) from 9 April to 22 April 2021. They are Taman Mentiga Jaya, Taman Perdana, Perkampungan Peramu Jaya 3, Taman Sepekan Makmur and Kampung Pulau Serai.
